Meerkat Movies Terms and Conditions

1. Use of the Meerkat Movies code (“Code”) at any participating Cineworld Cinema on at www.cineworld.com constitutes acceptance of these T&Cs. All terms and instructions relevant to the Meerkat Movies promotion available at www.comparethemarket.com/information/meerkat-movies-terms and other collateral form part of these T&Cs.
2. Only customers who present a valid Code for this offer at participating Cineworld Cinemas shall be entitled to claim a free cinema ticket, when more than one ticket is purchased by the customer for the same screening. The lowest price ticket will be free.
3. Codes are only valid for one screening on either a Tuesday or a Wednesday at participating Cineworld Cinemas. All Cineworld Cinemas participate in the Meerkat Movies promotion with the exception of The Screening Rooms Cheltenham, Glasgow Science Centre, Cineworld Dublin and Cineworld Jersey.
4. Codes may only be used once and cannot be used again once expired. Codes expire on completion of your ticket purchase transaction, or if not used, at 00:00:59 (59 seconds after midnight) on the Thursday after it is issued.
5. Offer applies to standard 2D tickets only. Uplift charges for 3D, IMAX, Superscreen, Impact, D-Box and 4DX will apply to each customer, including the '241' ticket.
6. This offer only applies to standard cinema screenings and excludes premieres, previews, school bookings, corporate or private hires, third party bulk ticket purchases, private screenings, event cinema, live broadcasts and as live broadcasts.
7. The Code may not be redeemed in the purchase of a ‘Movies for Juniors’ ticket.
8. The Code may not be redeemed online in the purchase of a Bargain Tuesday ticket; however, can be redeemed IN CINEMA on a TUESDAY against Cineworld’s standard Adult / Child/Senior/Student ticket prices.
9. This offer applies to standard seating only, VIP/premium seating is excluded.
10. A valid code for this offer must be presented at the box office or concessions counter at any participating Cineworld Cinema when purchasing a cinema ticket in order to claim the free ticket. Alternatively, where online booking is available, customers may be able to book their tickets online at www.cineworld.com. Please note that online customers must select a minimum of two tickets on the booking page and enter the Meerkat Movies code on the ticket booking page where indicated. The discount will be applied to the cheapest ticket type. Customers must provide credit/debit card information (for processing purposes) in order to book tickets online. Please note that, where tickets are booked online, a fee of 95p per person for whom a seat is booked is payable (this fee has been included in the ticket prices shown and will also be payable in respect of the free ticket). The fee is payable to Cineworld's sister company, Classic Cinemas Limited (“CCL”). If customers do not wish to pay a fee of 95p per person it is possible to purchase tickets and redeem Codes in person at the cinema where this fee will not apply. Codes may not be used to book tickets via the phone booking line. Cinema tickets are issued subject to availability.

1. Offer available to customers who have purchased My Cineworld Plus upgrade and hold a valid voucher code.
2. Offer includes £2/€2 off full price of ‘2 for’ combo (a regular sized soft dispensed drink with either regular sized popcorn / hot dog or nachos) (‘2 for’ offer) when the relevant ‘2 for’ offer is purchased in any participating Cineworld cinema.
3. To use the voucher code customers must present the QR code on the voucher (printed or on their mobile device) together with a valid cinema ticket at the concessions counter when purchasing the relevant ‘2 for’ offer.
4. Only one code per ‘2 for’ offer purchased may be used. The voucher QR code can be scanned up to three times to claim this offer.

1. By entering a Cineworld Twitter competition you will be deemed to accept these T&Cs.
2. All instructions in the relevant Cineworld Tweet relating to this competition form part of these T&Cs.
3. Participants must be a UK resident to participate. Participants under 18 years old may be asked for proof of the consent of a parent or legal guardian to claim tickets. Promotion not available to employees of Cineworld.
4. Entry to the competition is free and entered through re-tweeting the Cineworld tweet. 
5. The winner will be chosen at random from all entries and notified by direct message on twitter with the ticket codes to be redeemed at www.cineworld.com.  Cineworld may need to publish the winner’s full name and county of residence for legal reasons.  Participants agree to provide their full name and county of residence on request and consent to these details being published in the event that they are the winner.

3.4.    Multiple entries are permitted during the Promotion Period, provided that you purchase a Promotional Product each and every time you enter. Maximum of 1 Prize per person.

3.6.    Entrants must have an Internet Access to enter this promotion.

3.7.     All winners will be selected at random and automatically notified on the site and via email if they have won a prize.

4.4.    Unless otherwise stated, all expenses incurred by the winners in the general use and/or enjoyment of the Prize, including but not limited to food, drink, travel and accommodation, are the sole responsibility of the winners.

4.6.    The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.

5.    WINNER NOTIFCATION 
5.1 The Promoter has allocated a series of specific times equal to the number of prizes available. The person who accesses the microsite through the QR code on or first after a specific time will be the winner of that randomly allocated prize and will receive an on-screen notification advising them of their win and asking to confirm their personal details. Non-winning entrants will also receive an on-screen message advising them that they were unsuccessful.  Personal data will only be collected if an entrant wins a prize. Please note that if not claimed, the winning slots may be rolled over at the discretion of the Promoter during the promotional period.. All prizes are available to win but not all prizes might be won during the promotional period.

5.2    Winners will be notified via their screen and subsequently via the email address used to enter the promotion automatically 

5.3. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event a winner is not able to take up their prize and reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
5.4.    The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason the Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.

6.    PRIZE DELIVERY

6.1    If any Prizes are undelivered due to inaccurate details the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw and reallocate the prize entitlement with no liability.

7.    Moderation
The Promoter will reject entries which, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter: 
a.    contain any content that is likely to be considered offensive by the Promoter or could reflect negatively the name, reputation, or goodwill of the Promoter or any brand partner; 
b.    include trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material not owned by you or used without the right holder's prior written permission (including famous names, company names, etc.); 
c.    defames, misrepresents, or insult other people or companies, including, but not limited to the Promoter (including its partners); 
d.    promotes any political agenda. 

8.    LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and Prize Provider, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or Prize Provider, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

9.    DATA PROTECTION

9.1.    By entering the promotion, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the promotion entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer this promotion.

9.2.    Subject to promotion winners consent, the Promoter may use name, image and town or county of residence information to announce the winner of this promotion and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes. Winners further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.

10.    GENERAL

10.1.    By entering the Promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by the decisions of the Promoter.

10.2.    Instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion. In the event of a conflict, these terms and conditions take precedence.

10.3.    If the Promoter has any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or if it has any reason to believe that efforts have been made to distort the competitive process or spirit of the Promotion, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude any entrant from participating in the promotion.
10.4.    The Promoter reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize promotion where it becomes necessary to do so. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions (including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.

10.7.    Entrants acknowledge that other entrants may submit entries that may be similar to theirs, and that they will not be entitled to any compensation or right to negotiate with the Promoter over such matters.

10.8.    The promoter reserves the right to, at its sole discretion, disqualify any entries containing:

(a) content deemed to be wholly inappropriate, discriminatory or illegal, including but not limited to     obscene, indecent, defamatory, malicious, racist, sexist, homophobic, harassing, threatening and/or offensive, inclusive of nudity and/or pornography, sexual, violent and fraudulent in nature.

(b) any activity or behaviour which causes, encourages or promotes danger or a threat to the health and safety of the entrant and/or others.

(c) any activity or behaviour which promotes or advertises goods and/or services, including competitor products, for any form of remuneration.

IMAX Film Fest 2023: Win A Year's Worth of IMAX Tickets
