We're thrilled to announce the return of National Cinema Day on September 2nd. That means all films, all formats, all day for only £3.
Cineworld is proud to be a part of this industry-wide initiative, which is now in its second year.

Experience premium formats that are unique to Cineworld – for just £3
You may already be aware of the National Cinema Day movies that are showing in 2D, 3D, IMAX and Superscreen. (Click here for a full list of movies showing on the day.) But did you know about 4DX and ScreenX?
4DX is a thrilling multisensory experience that is unique to Cineworld cinemas in the UK and Ireland. Moving seats combine with wind, rain, scents and other effects to put you in the heart of the action.
ScreenX is also exclusive to Cineworld cinemas. The state-of-the-art technology uses 270° projection, expanding the parameters of a given movie onto the side walls of the auditorium for a truly overwhelming and visceral experience.
The question is this: which movies will you indulge in these spectacular formats? Denzel Washington unleashing the full force of the 4DX impact in The Equalizer 3? Or Jason Statham versus a prehistoric beast in the ScreenX impact of Meg 2: The Trench?
