Cineworld Wolverhampton's extensive refurbishment has resulted in the opening of your exciting new cinema. Your new-look Wolverhampton cinema comes on the same day that Cineworld cinemas in England re-open their doors to the public.
With a combination of 4DX, Superscreen and ScreenX under one roof, it promises an exciting and revolutionary new experience for Cineworlders. Scroll down for more details.
What is 4DX?
4DX provides a revolutionary cinematic experience that stimulates all five senses. This includes high-tech motion seats and special effects including wind, fog, lightning, bubbles, water, rain and scents, in both 2D and 3D formats. These effects work in perfect synchronicity with the action on screen – creating the most unmissable and exhilarating cinematic experience yet.
As part of our action-packed 4DX Never Been Seen programme, enjoy movies including Christopher Nolan's Inception, the first three Harry Potter blockbusters, and the groundbreaking Jurassic Park. This is the first time these crowd-pleasing, popcorn-spilling movies have been shown in 4DX, so don't miss out in the immersive impact.
What is ScreenX?
ScreenX is the world’s first multi-projection theatre technology that provides moviegoers with a 270-degree panoramic viewing experience by expanding the screen onto the side walls of the auditorium. It crafts a fully immersive experience that pulls you into the world of your favourite films like nothing before.
What other offerings are at this cinema?
Don't forget that 4DX and ScreenX are in addition to the newly opened Superscreen auditorium at Cineworld Wolverhampton. The breathtaking multidimensional sound powered by epic Dolby Atmos speakers will make you feel like you’re right there in the film. This combined with state-of-the-art projection on our huge screens means every second is a beauty to behold – from picturesque scenery to high-action sequences.
The refurbished cinema will also debut a new Starbucks, refurbed standard screens with new seats, and state-of-the-art updates to the foyer and concessions stands where customers can purchase a selection of their favourite movie snacks.
