Hitman: Agent 47

What's the story? Britain's Rupert Friend takes aim as a deadly assassin in this bullet-ridden action-thriller.

Agent 47 (Rupert Friend) is a mysterious and ruthless assassin who works for the top-secret organization known as the International Contracts Agency. Engineered to be stronger than most average humans, nothing will stop 47 from deviating from his goal.

Soon, innocent woman Katia van Dees (Hannah Ware) is drawn into the destruction that 47 leaves in his wake. She then finds out that her father started the Agent programme - and only he knows the weaknesses of these remorseless killing machines. Katia must team up with John Smith (Zachary Quinto) to find her father and stop 47 once and for all.

British actor Rupert Friend cuts an imposing figure as the ruthless killer in this reboot of the 2007 movie. Based on the enduringly popular console game series, Hitman: Agent 47 brings all the spectacular action fans expect.

The Transporter Refuelled

What's the story? The special ops mercenary and getaway driver is back in this pedal-to-the-metal action movie.

Former special-ops recruit Frank Walker (Ed Skrein) is living the quiet life in the south of France. In fact his father (Ray Stevenson) has stopped by to pay him a visit. But Frank's peaceful existence is shattered when he's coerced by alluring femme fatale Anna (Loan Chabanol) and her cohorts to take part in a daring bank heist. Soon, Frank is having to fight for his life and utilise those formidable driving skills as he seeks to outwit a sinister Russian kingpin.

British newcomer Ed Skrein steps into the role previously occupied by hardman Jason Statham for the fourth movie in the explosive Transporter series.

The Transporter Refuelled is released on 4th September.

Legend

What's the story? Tom Hardy stuns playing both of the notorious Kray twins in this fact-based thriller.

Identical twins Ronald and Reginald Kray (both played by Tom Hardy) have established a fearsomely violent criminal empire in 1960s London. Although both brothers exert control through brute force, Reggie struggles to contain the psychotic tendencies of his sibling, Ronnie. This dramatic period thriller takes a closer look at the Krays' infamous reign of terror, exploring how they became established as two of Britain's most feared criminals.

Following his role in this summer's runaway hit Mad Max: Fury Road, mercurial British star Tom Hardy delivers a remarkable dual performance as both Ronnie and Reggie, suggesting their subtle differences through careful body language. It further cements Hardy's reputation as one of the UK's greatest actors. Behind the camera is L.A. Confidential scriptwriter Brian Helgeland, and the excellent supporting cast includes Emily Browning, Taron Egerton, Christopher Eccleston, Colin Morgan and Chazz Palminteri.

Legend is released on 9th September.
