Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

It's time to take to the high seas again in the fifth instalment of Disney's swashbuckling franchise. Johnny Depp's rogeuish Jack Sparrow is nowhere to be seen in the teaser trailer for the fifth Pirates movie – but someone very, very bad is hot on his tail. Enter Skyfall showstopper and villainous actor extraordinaire Javier Bardem as ghostly baddie Captain Salazar – this guy looks seriously bad news, and we love it. Check out the trailer below.

Is The Magnificent Seven star Denzel Washington lining himself up for his third Oscar? That could be the case on the basis of this stirring trailer: directed by Washington himself and adapted from August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning stage play, Fences looks seriously powerful. Washington reprises his Tony award-winning stage role opposite his Broadway co-star Viola Davis for a rousing, unflinching story of a black father looking back on his life so far. Fences is released on 16th December – right in the middle of Oscar season and a sure sign that it's being geared for awards glory. Take a look at the trailer.
