The Lone Ranger is out this Friday. And unsurprisingly, most of the attention has focused on Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer as oddball double-act Tonto and John Reid. But the film is stocked with noteworthy character actors in supporting roles, none better than our very own Tom Wilkinson, who plays devious railroad tycoon Latham Cole.
Intriguingly, Wilkinson describes his character not as a villain but as an "adventure capitalist," someone compelled to unite the United States of America. Watch the following interview, in which Wilkinson talks at length about his character and what it was like to work on the mega-budget epic.
