The Creator: journey to a futuristic world via premium formats Cineworld

Rogue One, Godzilla and Monsters director Gareth Edwards has singled himself out as a contemporary sci-fi master. He returns this week with his new movie The Creator, which takes us into a futuristic world of pure imagination.

John David Washington portrays the resistance fighter who is poised to end the devastating war between mankind and a breakout A.I. The movie's lush visuals and resonant themes have already garnered critical acclaim, and it arrives at Cineworld very soon in premium formats.

Here's how you get to engage with the remarkable world of The Creator at Cineworld.

1. IMAX

The enlarged scope and curvature of the IMAX format makes the sheer scale of The Creator all the more vivid and powerful. The movie utilises tangible locations mixed with CG effects to take the breath away, which is further emboldened by IMAX.

IMAX utlises a greatly expanded aspect ratio (1.90:1 versus anamorphic widescreen's 2.39:1), which fuses with a bold remastering process, dual projection and perfectly tuned surround sound.

2. 4DX

Unique to Cineworld cinemas in the UK and Ireland, 4DX is a uniquely immersive multisensory format. It combines seat movement (generated by tactile motion programming) with a range of dynamic effects (wind, water, scents), so you'll feel as if you're being taken into the tactile physical environments depicted in The Creator.

3. ScreenX

ScreenX is an all-enveloping, 270-degree viewing experience that extends a given movie onto the side walls of the auditorium. The state-of-the-art technology uses up to 12 additional projectors to extend the movie beyond your peripheral vision.

With The Creator's eye-widening visuals coming at you from both the front and the sides, one cannot resist the ScreenX experience.

4. Superscreen

Movies feel like masterpieces in Superscreen. State-of-the-art projection and amazingly life-like sound combine to deliver an experience that’s as close to the filmmaker's original intentions as possible.

When those intentions are realised on the kind of scale seen in The Creator, one can imagine the movie's arresting immersion from Superscreen.

The Creator is released at Cineworld on September 28th so click the link below to start your journey into the unknown.
