Ambulance: go behind the scenes of the Michael Bay movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal

Ambulance movie Jake Gyllenhaal Yahya Abdul Mateen-II

Master of mayhem Michael Bay unleashes his next onslaught in the form of Ambulance. This sweaty, overwrought thriller, released this Friday in Cineworld, focuses on two criminal brothers, one enthusiastic, the other reluctant, who are forced to take an ambulance crew hostage in the wake of a job gone wrong.

Playing the two criminal siblings: Spider-Man's Jake Gyllenhaal and Aquaman's Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Eiza Gonzalez plays the innocent paramedic caught in the middle of the mayhem, which soon escalates to encompass the Los Angeles police force and a whole lot more.

As one would expect from the director of The Rock, Pearl Harbour and Transformers, there's no room for subtlety when the movie can instead punch the adrenaline button for all its worth. Go behind the scenes of the movie as Gyllenhaal and the rest of the cast and crew discuss putting on the blue light for Bay's latest rollercoaster.
