Where the Crawdads Sing is the big screen adaptation of Delia Owens' bestselling novel. The book has sold more than 12 million copies worldwide and has long been championed by Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon, who now produces the movie.
Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People) stars as the isolated Kya, a young woman living alone in the marshes of North Carolina. When Kya is implicated in a murder, she becomes the target of suspicion and hatred from her local community. The emotional story of the so-called 'marsh girl' then unfolds on two different timelines, one revealing Kya's coming-of-age, and the other her eventual trial.

I really enjoyed Where The Crawdads Sing, the story was good, the cast were great and the cinematography was beautiful.

Really enjoyed it. Haven’t read the book so couldn’t comment on how accurate it was - but as a stand-alone film I thought it was very good. @DaisyEdgarJones was exceptional, rest of the cast were also amazing. Great #UnlimitedScreening.

Very Fascinating Movie Overall! It told a new story. We really felt that we are rooting for Kya especially she's living a survival life out in the nature. It really does tell such a strong, moving story. The whole cast and crew did a superb job with the movie! Overall: 8.5/10! 😁

A nicely crafted but poorly paced Sunday afternoon movie, which may or may not have you thinking you’d be ok in the wild.

#WhereTheCrawdadsSing is a coming of age story with a mystery unresolved death. I think this is aimed at a Teen Audience. Whilst it is entertaining, it doesn’t quite hit the mark for grown adults. ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

I thought it was brilliant - a great story. And the shots of the marsh were stunning 👏🏻

I loved it and thought the way it showed what had happened before the trial was acted so well. Acting on all parts was great and think setting back in time a little made the story believable. Hasn't made me want to live in a Marsh though 😂
