The Nun 2 is the latest instalment in the blockbusting Conjuring Universe. It reunites us with the terrifying Valak, the Marilyn Manson-looking apparition who took pride of place in 2018's The Nun after its brief appearance in 2016's The Conjuring 2.
Taissa Farmiga returns from the previous Nun movie as Sister Irene. Now established as more than a mere novitiate, Sister Irene finds herself at a French boarding school where she and the children become plagued by strange happenings To her horror, Sister Irene discovers that her old nemesis, Valak, has returned despite its apparent vanquishment.
