Cineworld's greatest A-list interviews of 2022

We've been treated to some truly memorable blockbusters over the last 12 months, from comic book reboots to darkly humourous extravaganzas.

Of course, that also means a lot of accompanying interviews from Hollywood's best and brightest. There were so many great interviews that it was hard to choose our best ones.

Nevertheless, we've rounded up a selection of remarkable talent who sat down to chat with Cineworld.

Did your favourites make our list? Scroll down to find out.

1. Miles Teller and Joseph Kosinski for Top Gun: Maverick

The man who would be Rooster, Miles Teller, challenged his Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski in our must-see chat. We put a neat twist on it by getting Teller and Kosinski to fashion their own paper planes while answering our burning questions. Who came out on top? Find out in the video below.

2. Jeff Goldblum for Jurassic World: Dominion

Yes, we did get The Goldblum to perform his own theme tune on a keyboard. Not just an iconic actor, Jeff Goldblum (paired in our interview with co-star Mamoudou Athie) is also famous for his ability at tinkling the ivories, and he puts those skills to good use in our delightful behind-the-scenes meet-up.

3. Chris Evans for Lightyear

We hit the Cineworld Leicester Square red carpet several times this year to welcome Hollywood's best and brightest to London. One of our most memorable encounters happened when we dispatched a group of Pixar-loving sprogs to interview the voice of Buzz himself, Chris Evans. Find out what he said by watching the interview.

4. Alisha Weir, Emma Thompson and Andrea Riseborough for Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical

What happened when we got a Roald Dahl heroine, the brilliantly hissable Trunchbull and the hilariously obnoxious Mrs. Wormwood on video? Find out in our interview below as the Matilda stars kindly answered questions from Cineworlders.

5. Billy Eichner and Luke Macfarlane for Bros

We put the writer and star of the hit rom-com Bros, Billy Eichner, plus his co-star Luke Macfarlane, to the test during a hilarious game of Mr. and Mr. Who won? Find out in the video.

6. Tessa Thompson for Thor: Love and Thunder

We were more than worthy enough to sit down with the new ruler of Asgard. Valkyrie herself, Tessa Thompson, talked about returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and stepping into the role of leader.

7. Paul Dano and Jeffrey Wright for The Batman

The Riddler and Jim Gordon got our year of interviews off to a fine start. Dano and Wright compared their contrasting roles in Matt Reeves' engrossing and moody Batman reboot, which placed Robert Pattinson inside the cape for the first time.

8. Sonic the Hedgehog for Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Sega icon Sonic had plenty to say about his big-screen sequel.

9. Sandra Bullock and Daniel Radcliffe for The Lost City

What happened when Daniel lobbed cheese at Sandra? Find out in our fun interview for action-comedy The Lost City in which Bullock and Radcliffe demonstrate their easy-going chemistry together.

10. Daisy Edgar-Jones for Where the Crawdads Sing

In the wake of Normal People's sensational success, actor Daisy Edgar-Jones is a hot commodity in Hollywood. She was on wonderful form during our interview for the atmospheric Deep South drama Where the Crawdads Sing as she discussed bringing Delia Owens' bestselling novel to the screen.

11. Brad Pitt and Brian Tyree Henry for Bullet Train

Another red carpet venture for us, as the stars of the raucous action-comedy Bullet Train hit up Cineworld Leicester Square. We managed to corral the legendary Brad Pitt and his equally brilliant co-star Brian Tyree Henry to canvas their thoughts on the immersive, sensory capabilities of the 4DX format.

12. Margot Robbie and Rami Malek for Amsterdam

Amsterdam is stuffed with famous faces and we were lucky enough to interview two of them. Stars Margot Robbie and Rami Malek were on easygoing form as they outlined the zany characters they play in David O. Russell's freewheeling and farcical comedy-drama.
