Mary Poppins Returns
What's the story? 'Mary Poppins Returns' stars: Emily Blunt as the practically-perfect nanny with unique magical skills who can turn any task into an unforgettable, fantastic adventure; Lin-Manuel Miranda as her friend Jack, an optimistic street lamplighter who helps bring light—and life—to the streets of London; Ben Whishaw as Michael Banks; Emily Mortimer as Jane Banks; and Julie Walters as the Banks' housekeeper Ellen; with Colin Firth as Fidelity Fiduciary Bank's William Weatherall Wilkins; and Meryl Streep as Mary's eccentric cousin, Topsy. The film also introduces three new Banks' children played by Pixie Davies, Nathanael Saleh and newcomer Joel Dawson. Angela Lansbury appears as the Balloon Lady, a treasured character from the PL Travers books and Dick Van Dyke is Mr. Dawes Jr., the retired chairman of the bank now run by Firth's character.

What's the story? Born to a wealthy family and raised in an environment of affluence and indulgence,Bauua Singh (Shah Rukh Khan) was never failed by Meerut or its people. But whenhe meets two women (Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma), his experiences with these women take him on a journey to complete his 'incompleteness' and broadenhis horizons to find a purpose he never knew he had.

Adanga Maru (Tamil)
What's the story? The main protagonist (Hero) of this story is an ambitious cop who is newly appointed in to the police force. The hero belongs to a well to do family and is the favourite child in the family. The story begins by explaining how a prominent senior officer uses the hero to frame a software techie for his personal vengeance. The hero is shocked to see the way the system functions but stays put doing his job. The heroine in the story is an Interior designer who is in love with the hero for quite some time. They are an extremely matured pair always found teasing each other. The story progresses to a particular day when a crime is reported and the police try to crack the case with the hero being a part of the investigation. He soon notices that the team decides to drop the case for no reason though there is strong evidence to look out for the criminals. He later realizes that the police decide to drop the case because the accused are sons of highly influential and rich men. The hero’s conscience pricks him so he decides to pursue the case. The hero zeroes in on the offenders and arrests them. This offends the department and they save the accused. The released antagonists taunt the protagonist for their humiliation and tell him that they would take revenge. How the hero tackles the accused in a strategic manner and achieves his objective without flaws would form the rest of the story.

Maari 2 (Tamil)
What's the story? Maari is a local don in Chennai who has thwarted multiple murder attempts on him. But when an unknown enemy from his past comes to target him, his life and the lives of the loved ones around him changes in an unexpected way. Whether or not and how he takes on this new enemy in his life forms the rest of the story.

Die Hard: 30th anniversary re-issue (Saturday 22nd December, 8.30pm; Monday 24th December, 7pm)
What's the story? On Christmas Eve, tough New York detective John McClane arrives in Los Angeles with the aim of reconciling with his estranged wife, Holly at the Christmas party of her employer, the Nakatomi Corporation. When the party is disrupted by a group of heavily armed criminals led by the charismatic Hans Gruber, McClane evades capture and begins a one-man war against the hostage takers who are attempting to rob the corporation whilst occupying the LAPD and the FBI by posing as terrorists. Outmanned, outgunned and ill-equipped for the task at hand, McClane calls in the help of a local beat cop in his crusade against Gruber.

Bolshoi Ballet 2018: The Nutcracker (Sunday 23rd December, 3pm)
What's the story? On Christmas Eve, Marie's Nutcracker doll magically transforms into a prince and their wonderful adventure begins. The holiday classic returns to the majestic Bolshoi stage for a live broadcast of a timeless story, The Nutcracker, taking audiences of all ages on a magical journey through a world of enchantment complete with dancing snowflakes and dolls that have come to life, accompanied by Tchaikovsky's beloved score.
