Movies for Juniors (only available at certain UK cinemas)

Terms and Conditions

  1. Discounted ticket price available, for children and accompanying adults, on selected film screenings on a Saturday and/or Sunday at participating Cineworld Cinemas, see Cineworld.com or check in-cinema for price details.
  2. All customers aged 16 or over must be accompanying a child. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  3. Movie for Juniors tickets may be purchased online, by telephone or in-cinema. Please note that, where tickets are booked online or by telephone, a fee of 70p per person for whom a seat is booked is payable. The fee represents a charge for booking remotely and includes an amount payable to Classic Cinemas Limited for processing online/telephone payments and redemptions. If customers do not wish to pay a fee of 70p per person it is possible to purchase tickets in person at the cinema where this fee will not apply.

Meerkat Movies Terms and Conditions

  2. Only customers who present a valid Code for this offer at participating Cineworld Cinemas shall be entitled to claim a free cinema ticket, when more than one ticket is purchased by the customer for the same screening. The lowest price ticket will be free.
  3. Codes are only valid for one screening on either a Tuesday or a Wednesday at participating Cineworld Cinemas. All Cineworld Cinemas participate in the Meerkat Movies promotion with the exception of The Screening Rooms Cheltenham, Picturehouse cinemas, Glasgow Science Centre, Cineworld Dublin and Cineworld Jersey.
  4. Codes may only be used once and cannot be used again once expired. Codes expire on completion of your ticket purchase transaction, or if not used, at 00:00:59 (59 seconds after midnight) on the Thursday after it is issued.
  5. Offer applies to standard 2D tickets only. Uplift charges for 3D, IMAX, Superscreen, Impact, D-Box and 4DX will apply to each customer, including the '241' ticket.

Terms and Conditions

  1. By entering a Cineworld Twitter competition you will be deemed to accept these T&Cs.
  2. All instructions in the relevant Cineworld Tweet relating to this competition form part of these T&Cs.
  3. Participants must be a UK resident to participate. Participants under 18 years old may be asked for proof of the consent of a parent or legal guardian to claim tickets. Promotion not available to employees of Cineworld.
  4. Entry to the competition is free and entered through re-tweeting the Cineworld tweet. 
  5. The winner will be chosen at random from all entries and notified by direct message on twitter with the ticket codes to be redeemed at www.cineworld.com.  Cineworld may need to publish the winner’s full name and county of residence for legal reasons.  Participants agree to provide their full name and county of residence on request and consent to these details being published in the event that they are the winner.  
  6. One entry per person permitted.
  7. Cineworld’s Unlimited Fan of the Month Competition

Terms and Conditions

  1. Acceptance of these terms 
    By taking part in Cineworld’s Unlimited Fan of the Month Competition (the “Competition”) and uploading an entry to Instagram or Twitter, you will be deemed to have accepted, and to have agreed to be bound by, these terms and conditions. All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to the Competition form part of these terms and conditions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  2. Participants
    2.1 The Competition is open to UK residents aged 16 years or over, subject to paragraphs 2.2 and 2.3 below. Participants under 18 years old may be asked for proof of the consent of a parent or legal guardian to take part. 
    2.2 Entrants must be an active Cineworld Unlimited club member with an account in good standing. “Active” means using your Unlimited Club card at least once per calendar month. Your Cineworld Unlimited account is in “good standing” if it is open, active and not in arrears. 
    2.3 The Competition is not open to employees of Cineworld Cinemas, their immediate families, or anyone else professionally connected with the Competition.
  3. How to Enter
    3.1 To enter this Competition, a qualified entrant must either post a photo or message on Twitter and/or Instagram using the hashtag #CineworldUnlimited, during the relevant Promotional Period (as defined in paragraph 4.1). Entrant’s Twitter or Instagram accounts must be set to public so the Promoter can view entries for the entry to be considered valid. Internet access and a valid Twitter and/or Instagram account is required.
    3.2 It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they have submitted have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants warrant that any images they submit are their own work.
    3.3 The winner shall be the owner of the Twitter or Instagram account from which the selected entry is sent and any other person in the winning tweet/Instagram post will not have any rights to the prize.
    3.4 The promoter will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid. 
    3.5 Participants may submit multiple entries to the Competition, but will be able to win a ‘Unlimited Fan of the Month” prize only once. No duplicate entries will be accepted. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or automated devices will be void.
  4. Start and Closing Date
    4.1 The Competition is ongoing, and the first month’s judging will occur on 13th June 2016 and will include all entries received since 1st June 2016 until 23:59 on 12th June 2016. Thereafter, each monthly competition will open on 12th of the month and close at 23:59 of the 11th of each month (the “Promotion Period”).
  5. Picking the Winner(s)
    Shortlist:
    5.1 All entries will go through an initial filtering process to ensure entries meet the entry criteria. Every month, the Cineworld Social Media Team, together with an independent judge, will select a shortlist of 10 entrants (each a “Shortlisted Entrant”). Entries will be judged on: (i) the most engaging content using #CineworldUnlimited; and (ii) composition and connection to the Cineworld Unlimited brand whilst abiding by the rules for upload (see below). The judges’ selection of the Shortlisted Entrants will be at their sole discretion and will be final.
    Winner Selection:
    5.2 The Shortlisted Entrants will be contacted by private message on the platform through which they entered within 3 working days of the end of the applicable Promotion Period, and will be asked to answer the question “Why should YOU be the Unlimited Fan of the Month?” (the “Competition Question”). If a Shortlisted Entrant does not submit an answer within 3 days of being contacted by the Promoter, they will forfeit their position as a Shortlisted Entrant.
    5.3 The Shortlisted Entrants who answer the Competition Question (in accordance with paragraph 5.2 above), will be judged by a panel comprising of Cineworld staff and one independent member (the “Panel”), who will select one (1) Unlimited Fan of the Month (the “Winner”) based on the most creative and original answer to the Competition Question. The Panel’s selection of the Winner will be at their sole discretion and will be final. The Winner will be selected within 10 working days of the end of each Promotion Period. The full names of the judges will be made available on request by writing to the Promoter (at the address set out in paragraph 7 below).
    5.4 Entries will be rejected if they: i) contain defamatory, malicious, indecent, immoral or other inappropriate content including sexist or racist language or imagery; ii) include the names, likenesses, photographs or similar of any individual without their express permission; iii) condone or encourage violent or anti-social behaviour; iv) cause offence on the ground of religion, gender, sexual orientation, nudity, disability or age; or have negative attitudes about the promoter or any of its related partners. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.
    5.5 The Winner(s) and Shortlisted Entrants may be required to take part in publicity and by entering this Competition they hereby agree to taking part in any such publicity. By submitting an entry to the Competition, you grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, irrevocable royalty free, worldwide, perpetual licence (with a right to sub-licence) to use, republish, edit and/or modify your competition entry in any all media for purposes connected with the Competition and as described in these terms and conditions.
  6. The Prize
    6.1 There will be one (1) Winner per month who will receive a £100 Cineworld gift card. T&Cs apply in relation to the Cineworld Gift Card – http://www.cineworld.co.uk/terms/gift-cards-and-e-gift-cards.
    6.2 Please note that Cineworld gives no warranty or guarantee as to the quality of the prize. No cash alternatives will be offered. If the prize becomes unavailable for any reason outside of Cineworld’s control, Cineworld reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value.
    6.3 The Winner will be notified by email within 7 working days of being selected as the Winner, and will be given details of how to claim their prize. If a Winner rejects the Prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms, then the Winner’s prize will be forfeited and the judges shall be entitled to select another Winner using the process referred to above.
    6.4 Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the prize is excluded.
  7. Winner’s Details
    The Winner’s name and county will be disclosed to anyone who writes requesting the details within one month after the published closing date and encloses a stamped addressed envelope, to Unlimited Fan of the Month competition - Cineworld Cinemas Marketing Dept, 8th Floor Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG.
  8. Promoter and Promoter’s Rights
    The promoter of the Unlimited Fan of the Month Competition is Cineworld Cinemas Limited, trading as Cineworld Cinemas (company number: 01915767, registered office: 8th Floor Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG). Cineworld Cinemas reserves the right to (i) amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, and (ii) terminate or suspend the campaign at any time due to circumstances beyond its control.
    This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter or Instagram. You understand that you are providing your information to Cineworld Cinemas and not to Twitter or Instagram and you release Twitter and Instagram from any liability which may arise in connection with this Prize Draw.
  9. Jurisdiction
    These terms and conditions (and any related disputes) are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  10. Data Protection
    All data provided by participants will be treated in line with Cineworld Cinemas’ Privacy Policy (available on the Cineworld website at www.cineworld.com), and processed only for the purposes of running the Unlimited Fan of the Month competition.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – Star Experience Prize Draw

Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of these Terms 
By entering into this prize draw (the “Prize Draw”), you will be deemed to have accepted, and to have agreed to be bound by, these terms and conditions. All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this Prize Draw form part of these terms and conditions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail. 

2. Participants 
You must be a UK resident and you must be at least 16 years old (“Entrants”) to enter the Prize Draw, Entrants under the age of 18 years of age must have permission from a parent/legal guardian to enter, and the Promoter reserves the right to ask for proof of permission.

3. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Cineworld Cinemas, Walt Disney Studios, LucasFilm, their immediate families, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw.

4. How to Enter 
To enter the Prize Draw, book your ticket(s) online to see Rogue One: A Star Wars Story at any participating Cineworld Cinema (“Qualifying Booking”). Then register your personal details and online booking reference on your Qualifying Booking on the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Star Experience promotional website by visiting www.cineworldstarwarspromo.co.uk. We regret that we are unable to accept entries other than via the website. Cineworld accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering the Prize Draw. Entries must be received between 6am on Monday 21st November 2016 and 10am on Monday 5th December 2016 (the “Closing Date”).

5. The Draw 
All entries received by the Closing Date will be collected together and three (3) x winners will be drawn at random from all the eligible entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions. The winner will be selected by a random computer process that produces verifiably random results or by an independent person, or under the supervision of an independent person. The draw will take place on Monday 5th December. The winners will be contacted within 14 days of each Prize Draw date. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions. Cineworld’s decision regarding the winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners may be required to take part in publicity and by entering this Prize Draw they hereby agree to taking part in any such publicity.

6. The Prize 
Each Winner will win a “Star Experience”, which will include:

  • A round trip in luxury chauffeur driven car, from the winner’s home address to the Cineworld Cinema in their Qualifying Booking for the screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. If the Qualifying Booking includes more than one (1) ticket, up to three (3) other people on the Qualifying Booking may accompany the winner to the screening in the luxury chauffeur driven car. Subject to paragraph 8 below, it is acknowledged and agreed that the round trip to the screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in the luxury chauffeur driven car is only available to those people (up to a maximum of four (4)) who are listed on the Qualifying Booking.
  • A ‘concierge’ staff member at the cinema as the winner’s central point of contact throughout the Star Experience.
  • One (1) x £50 Cineworld Gift Card to spend on food & drink at Cineworld Cinemas (any remaining balance on the card may be retained by the winner for future use).

Please note that Cineworld gives no warranty or guarantee as to the quality of the prize. If the prize, or part of the prize, becomes unavailable for any reason outside of Cineworld’s control, Cineworld reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value.

Should a winner or a member of the booking party (if applicable) be under 16 years of age at the date of the screening on the Qualifying Booking, that winner or member of the booking party (if applicable) must be accompanied to and from the screening in the luxury chauffeur driven car (forming part of the prize of the Star Experience) by a suitable and responsible adult, parent or guardian aged 18 years and over. It is acknowledged and agreed that such accompanying adult may not necessarily be part of the Qualifying Booking and may therefore not have a ticket to the screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and the Promoter is under no obligation to provide the accompanying adult with a ticket.

9. Exclusions: Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the prize package is excluded, including but limited to tickets not already purchased as part of the Qualified Booking.

10. Other conditions: 
a. No cash alternative is offered and the prize package is non-transferable and non-refundable and cannot be re-sold. Winner(s) cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in part). 
b. If a winner is unable to use part of the prize, the winner will forfeit that part of the prize package with no compensation or any further liability of the part of the promoter. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize. 
c. Cineworld accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering the Prize Draw.

1. Acceptance of these Terms
By entering into this prize draw (the “Prize Draw”), you will be deemed to have accepted, and to have agreed to be bound by, these terms and conditions. All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this Prize Draw form part of these terms and conditions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

2. Participants
You must be a UK resident and you must be at least 18 years old (“Entrants”) to enter the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Cineworld Cinemas, Universal Pictures International UK, their immediate families, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw.

3. How to Enter
To enter the Prize Draw, book your ticket(s) online to see ‘Fast & Furious 8’ at any participating Cineworld Cinema (“Qualifying Booking”). Then register your personal details and the online booking details of your Qualifying Booking on the Fast & Furious 8 promotional website by visiting

We regret that we are unable to accept entries other than via the website. Cineworld accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering the Prize Draw. Entries must be received between 6am on Tuesday 7 March 2017 and 10am (the “Closing Time”) on Tuesday 18 April 2017 (the “Closing Date”).

4. The Draw
All entries received by the Closing Date will be collected together and one (1) x winner will be drawn at random from all the eligible entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions. The winner will be selected by a random computer process that produces verifiably random results or by an independent person, or under the supervision of an independent person. The draw will take place on Tuesday 18 April 2017 (after the Closing Time).

The winner will be contacted within 14 days of the Closing Date. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions. Cineworld’s decision regarding the winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner may be required to take part in publicity and by entering this Prize Draw they hereby agree to taking part in any such publicity.

5. The Prize
There is one (1) prize available, which consists of one (1) trip for four (4) people (the “Winning Family”) to Reykjavik, Iceland, including:

• Economy return flights for the Winning Family (may be indirect) from major international airports in London, Dublin, Edinburgh or Manchester to Reykjavik, Iceland (blackout dates apply); 
• 3 nights four-star accommodation in Reykjavik, Iceland (the “Hotel”), on a bed and breakfast basis. The Winning Family will share one (1) quadruple occupancy room or apartment; 
• Return private ground transfers between airport and Hotel in Reykjavik, Iceland on arrival and departure; 
• Dinner for the Winning Family at a restaurant in Reykjavik, up to a maximum value of £200; 
• Exclusive Snowmobile and Supertruck Glacier Adventure (approximately 8 hours), including:
     o Expert guide
     o All equipment
     o Safety briefing
     o 1 hour solo snowmobile ride

   (the “Prize”).

Prize Specific Terms and Conditions 

• At least one member of the Winning Family must be 18 or over on date of departure. Where any travellers are aged under 18, they must have prior parental or guardian permission to partake in the Prize.
• Flight itinerary will be selected by Prize Supplier at their sole discretion.
• Specific travel dates and arrangements are subject to air travel, public holiday, blackout dates, and other prize and travel restrictions. All arrangements must be made via Prize Supplier’s designated fulfilment partner; bookings made independently will not be refunded. Blackout dates (when travel cannot be taken) are from 21st December 2017 – 2nd January 2018 (Christmas and New Year), over UK bank holidays, or over Easter Sunday.
• The prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and travel must be booked and completed within that time frame.
• The winner must contact Prize Supplier with three preferred travel dates no later than six weeks prior to departure, which are subject to availability. Travel dates are subject to Prize Supplier’s approval.
• All members of the Winning Family must travel at the same time and depart from the same city.
• Once travel has been booked no changes are permitted.
• Open travel tickets and stopovers are prohibited.
• Stay must include a Saturday night in the Hotel.
• Hotel will require a credit card imprint or cash deposit to cover incidentals. A cash deposit will be returned upon departure. Any credit card chard will be reversed unless incidentals were incurred.
• The minimum age for the snowmobile experience is 8 years old for passengers, and participants operating the snowmobile must hold a full valid driving license.
• Each member of the Winning Family is responsible for any necessary vaccinations and must check with their GP before travelling that their vaccinations are up to date.
• The Winning Family must organise their own visas for this trip and any visa or passport charges are their responsibility.
• All elements of the Prize and reservations are subject to availability.
• All elements of the Prize must be redeemed at the same time, and no changes will be permitted after confirmation of any redemption.
• All those travelling must have valid passports valid for at least 6 months at time of travel and applicable visas which is the sole responsibility of the Travelling Party. The Prize Supplier and their fulfilment agent cannot be held responsible for the prize winner and/or their guests being unable to participate in the prize due to visa restrictions
• The Promoter, the Prize Supplier and their fulfilment agent cannot be held responsible for any member of the Winning Family being unable to participate in the prize due to passport and visa restrictions.
• Once issued, tickets are non-transferable and may not be reissued once travel has commenced.
• Prize consists only of the elements set out in these Terms and Conditions, no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, visa costs, insurance, unspecified meals, unspecified ground transportation, phone calls, gratuities, incidentals, souvenirs, fuel etc.) are included in the Prize (except as set out above) and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of the Winning Family.
• If winner elects to partake in any or all portions of his/her Prize with no guest, the Prize will be awarded to winner and any remainder of the Prize will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation.
• There is no cash alternative and the Prize is non-transferable.
• No component of the Prize can be transferred, refunded or redeemed for cash.

Please note that neither Cineworld nor the Prize Supplier give any warranty or guarantee as to the quality of the Prize. If the Prize, or part of the Prize, becomes unavailable for any reason outside of the Prize Supplier’s control, the Prize Supplier reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal value, with no liability on the part of Cineworld.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Alien Superticket: Alien Covenant (“Superticket(s)”) is available at selected participating cinemas only (please check cinema listings) and is subject to availability.
  2. Superticket(s) may be purchased online, by telephone or in-cinema for £20 (€20 for Ireland). Please note that, where tickets are booked online or by telephone, a fee of 70p (70c for Ireland) per person for whom a seat is booked is payable in addition to the ticket price. The fee represents a charge for booking remotely and includes an amount payable to Classic Cinemas Limited for processing online/telephone payments and redemptions. If customers do not wish to pay a fee of 70p/70c per person it is possible to purchase tickets in person at the cinema where this fee will not apply.
  3. If Superticket(s) are purchased through My Cineworld, a ten per cent (10%) discount shall automatically be applied to the Superticket purchase price.
  4. The Superticket is available to Unlimited cardholders at no additional cost.
  5. Purchase of a Superticket entitles the ticketholder to attend both of the following screenings:

  10. The Superticket holder must retain ticket stump or booking confirmation email (as applicable) to gain entry to Alien Day and the screening of ALIEN COVENANT. Supertickets are not replaceable if lost or stolen.
  11. Supertickets remain subject to availability, normal age restrictions, and any other relevant standard terms and conditions including each cinema’s general admission terms. Proof of age may be requested.
  12. Superticket is void if altered, tampered with, forged, photocopied or damaged.
  13. Re-sale of Superticket is strictly prohibited.
  14. If the Superticket holder is unable to attend one of the Superticket screenings, the Superticket holder will forfeit that part of the Superticket with no compensation on part of the Promoter or Cineworld.
