Tickets & Pricing
Prices vary between cinemas as well as by film, format, seating type, time and day. Prices are displayed in cinema and are also available online when you make your selections during the booking process on the Cineworld website, apps and Facebook booking app. Online ticket prices may differ to those in cinema. A booking fee may be payable for tickets purchased online. Alternatively, we recommend becoming an Unlimited member, with a monthly fee covering unlimited visits to watch films. For more information check out the Cineworld Unlimited card. Or upgrade your My Cineworld account to My Cineworld plus for a small annual charge and enjoy 10% off online ticket purchases. Find out more here.
We want to offer customers a great cinema experience and good value for money. Our prices vary depending on the day and time of the performance, the format of the screening, seating type and from one cinema to another. We regularly review our prices so that we can continue to provide customers with a great choice of films and invest in the latest cinema technology. We believe that our tickets are competitively priced and we also offer promotions and discounts like off-peak tickets, Meerkat Movies and Movies for Juniors.
Ticket prices vary between cinemas because some have higher rent and running costs.

* Babes In Arms means any child under 18 months of age. Children aged 18 months+ will need to pay the full child price. We are happy to admit Babes In Arms into a morning or afternoon performance with a U, PG or 12A certification.
Please note that in order to participate in the family ticket deal, all customers must watch the same film.
Children up to and including the age of 14 can use child tickets. 15 to 17 year olds are charged as a student price (proof of age may be required). 18 years and above should purchase adult or student tickets (proof of student status will be required).
A family ticket comes in combinations of 4 tickets, which should include at least one (1) adult, two (2) children with the fourth ticket being either an adult or a child ticket. By booking a family ticket you will get a discount on the total price. A family ticket is cheaper than four tickets purchased individually.
In order to participate in the family ticket deal, all customers must watch the same film. Family tickets are available in all Cineworld Cinemas.

The Cinebabies performances are aimed at enabling parents with infants to come and watch movies with us in an environment more suitable for small children than our normal screenings- with the lights to half and the sound at a lower volume than normal, though there is no formal restriction on the age of children allowed to come to the performances. The screenings are primarily aimed at the parents rather than the children and we won't show any films rated higher than 12A.
On Saturday and Sunday mornings and during school breaks, selected cinemas offer special screenings with pre-show entertainment for our younger customers. These screenings are an ideal way to introduce your children to the movies at a bargain price: 2D screenings are priced from £2.50 per ticket. Each adults must be accompanied by children.
Premium Movies For Juniors are new films which unlike standard Movies For Juniors have not been screened in the cinema previously but which are still sold at a discounted price - from £5.50 at many cinemas
Available at most Cineworld cinemas except our West End sites (London - Leicester Square). Cineworld also offer subtitled Movies for Juniors performances at selected cinemas.
Please note that films vary between cinemas. Check your local Cineworld for full listings or register for a free My Cineworld account on our website and sign up to receive exclusive film time emails, news and offers.
Our staff are legally required to ask for proof that you are old enough to watch an age restricted film if they have any doubt as to your age. In order to prove your age, we require official I.D. that includes a photo and date of birth such as a passport (a photocopy of a passport is accepted) or a driver’s license. We also accept all PASS accredited proof of age cards. For more information or to apply for a proof of age I.D card visit: http://www.pass-scheme.org.uk.

We accept payment online through the following methods:
Please note, SOLO and Visa Electron cards are not accepted.
When making a booking online through the Cineworld website or apps, you will be asked to provide a valid e-mail address. When you have completed your online booking, we’ll send you a confirmation email which will include details of your booking and instructions on how to collect your tickets. To see if your booking has been successful, simply check your email inbox and spam/ junk folders if not received. If you have registered for a My Cineworld account, your booking will also be saved within your MyCineworld account.
Yes of course. Simply book your tickets online as usual and your confirmation email will contain a QR code. If you show this QR code on your mobile screen or on a print out at drop-box (where your tickets get torn on the way into the screen), a team member will scan your code and you, along with anyone else included in your booking, can walk straight into your screening. E-tickets work with Google Wallet and Apple Pay. You may still collect printed tickets before your screening at the counter or kiosks if you prefer. If you do so, your mobile-ticket / QR code will no longer work and you will need to use the collected tickets to access your film.
To make the most of your booking, we suggest that you collect your tickets 20 minutes before the performance commences.
No, we don’t. Your ticket will appear as non-collected on our system but no refund will be issued. All tickets are non-refundable unless you have registered for a My Cineworld account and cancel your booking through your My Cineworld account at least 2 hours before the performance time.
Yes, you do. If you have purchased a concession/student ticket or booked a ticket online using your Unlimited Card, please ensure that you bring your proof of entitlement/Unlimited Card with you to the cinema as you may be required to produce it on entry to the cinema.

The booking fee allows us to operate and continue to invest in our remote ticketing channels which provide a valuable service to our customers.
Cineworld currently offers no booking fees on tickets for our Unlimited members, CEA Carers and some charity screenings.
Booking fees do not apply to tickets purchased in person at our cinemas, although tickets purchased in cinema may cost more or less than online. Booking fees are non-refundable unless screenings are cancelled.

- (U) Universal It is impossible to predict what might upset any particular child. But a 'U' film should be suitable for audiences aged four years and over. 'U' films should be set within a positive moral framework and should offer reassuring counterbalances to any violence, threat or horror.
- (PG) Parental Guidance Unaccompanied children of any age may watch. A 'PG' film should not disturb a child aged around eight or older. However, parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger or more sensitive children.
- (12A) 12A No-one younger than 12 may see a '12A' film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult. Responsibility for allowing under-12s to view lies with the accompanying or supervising adult.
- (15) 15 No-one younger than 15 may see a '15' film in a cinema.
- (18) 18 No-one younger than 18 may see an '18' film in a cinema.
