Tickets and Cancellations

Tickets & Pricing

Prices vary between cinemas as well as by film, format, seating type, time and day. Prices are displayed in cinema and are also available online when you make your selections during the booking process on the Cineworld website, apps and Facebook booking app. Online ticket prices may differ to those in cinema. A booking fee may be payable for tickets purchased online. Alternatively, we recommend becoming an Unlimited member, with a monthly fee covering unlimited visits to watch films. For more information check out the Cineworld Unlimited card. Or upgrade your My Cineworld account to My Cineworld plus for a small annual charge and enjoy 10% off online ticket purchases. Find out more here.

We want to offer customers a great cinema experience and good value for money. Our prices vary depending on the day and time of the performance, the format of the screening, seating type and from one cinema to another. We regularly review our prices so that we can continue to provide customers with a great choice of films and invest in the latest cinema technology. We believe that our tickets are competitively priced and we also offer promotions and discounts like off-peak tickets, Meerkat Movies and Movies for Juniors.

Ticket prices vary between cinemas because some have higher rent and running costs.

The Cinebabies performances are aimed at enabling parents with infants to come and watch movies with us in an environment more suitable for small children than our normal screenings- with the lights to half and the sound at a lower volume than normal, though there is no formal restriction on the age of children allowed to come to the performances. The screenings are primarily aimed at the parents rather than the children and we won't show any films rated higher than 12A.

On Saturday and Sunday mornings and during school breaks, selected cinemas offer special screenings with pre-show entertainment for our younger customers. These screenings are an ideal way to introduce your children to the movies at a bargain price: 2D screenings are priced from £2.50 per ticket. Each adults must be accompanied by children.

Premium Movies For Juniors are new films which unlike standard Movies For Juniors have not been screened in the cinema previously but which are still sold at a discounted price - from £5.50 at many cinemas

Available at most Cineworld cinemas except our West End sites (London - Leicester Square). Cineworld also offer subtitled Movies for Juniors performances at selected cinemas.

Please note that films vary between cinemas. Check your local Cineworld for full listings or register for a free My Cineworld account on our website and sign up to receive exclusive film time emails, news and offers.

Our staff are legally required to ask for proof that you are old enough to watch an age restricted film if they have any doubt as to your age. We also accept all PASS accredited proof of age cards. For more information or to apply for a proof of age I.D card visit: http://www.pass-scheme.org.uk.

    Film Classifications

    • (U) Universal It is impossible to predict what might upset any particular child. But a 'U' film should be suitable for audiences aged four years and over. 'U' films should be set within a positive moral framework and should offer reassuring counterbalances to any violence, threat or horror.
    • (PG) Parental Guidance Unaccompanied children of any age may watch. A 'PG' film should not disturb a child aged around eight or older. However, parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger or more sensitive children.
    • (12A) 12A No-one younger than 12 may see a '12A' film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult. Responsibility for allowing under-12s to view lies with the accompanying or supervising adult.
    • (15) 15 No-one younger than 15 may see a '15' film in a cinema.
    • (18) 18 No-one younger than 18 may see an '18' film in a cinema.
