If you are unhappy with any aspect of your ticket booking or visit to one of our cinemas, please get in touch with our Customer Services team by email at [email protected] or call us on 0333 003 3444 from the UK, or 0818 304 204 if calling from the Republic of Ireland. We always welcome customer feedback, good or bad, and we aim to resolve customer issues amicably, so it is important that you let our Customer Services team know about your complaint and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.

If you are still not happy with how we have handled any complaint, you may want to contact the alternative dispute resolution provider we use. Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court.

ADR will only be offered once the complaint process has been exhausted.

Alternatively, you may wish to seek your own ADR provider, however Cineworld will not cover any costs of this.

Cineworld have a strict no externally purchased hot food or alcohol policy, and we reserve the right to refuse customers entry into the screens with hot food or alcohol bought outside the premises. We offer a wide range of drinks and snacks for you to enjoy when watching our movies, including cinema favourites such as popcorn, hot dogs and nachos.

No, customers are not permitted to smoke or vape on the premises of any Cineworld cinema. This includes any form of electronic cigarette or other artificial smoking devices. Cineworld reserves the right to require any person or customer found to be in contravention of this rule to leave the premises immediately without any entitlement to a refund.

Ads and trailers normally last between 20-30 minutes before the film begins. We recommend all customers arrive at the cinema 20 minutes ahead of the advertised start time to ensure they have the best possible experience. We also recommend you are promptly seated at the advertised start time to ensure you do not miss the beginning of the film, should adverts be unexpectedly shorter.

At Cineworld our priority remains the safety of our customers and employees. We follow all instructions and regulations of the local authorities and have a number of Safety Measures in place in line with current government guidelines and requirements.

Cineworld continues to operate an enhanced cleaning procedure within all cinemas.

Venue Hire & Events

The movie will start dead on 11am, we advise customers to please get to the cinema 15 mins before their event start time in order not to miss any of the movie. There are no ads or trailers for private events.

Our cinemas choose to focus on the most recent releases.

You can still order drinks and snacks from the cinema on the day if your event is after 1pm. However please note you will need to pay full price at the cinema on the day and will not benefit from the special offers our sales team can provide.

You will need to speak to one of our sales consultants so please send through an enquiry and depending on your needs we may be able to help you.

If you want to show your own movie then this type of event can be arranged by contacting us via [email protected]. If you wish to show your own film then the content will need to be converted to DCP format which will incur an additional fee of £250 (inc VAT). You will also need to get your film age certified by the local council. We don’t allow you to charge for tickets for private hires so please take this into consideration.

Schools are allowed to re-coup the money from their students for school trips however for all other private events this is not allowed. However we do make exceptions so if you are a charity or a community group please speak to one of our sales consultants who may be able to help you.

Our events system automatically generates your requirements to the cinema, this is done each week so the cinema knows the number of staff they need for the event and any snack items they need to order if they don’t have what you want for your event in stock.

Bristol Closure

Cineworld Bristol will close on Sunday 26th November after the last film ends.

Following a review of all available options, we have taken the difficult decision to close Cineworld Bristol. We would like to thank all of our customers, past and present, for choosing Cineworld Bristol as their local cinema.

No, all films and events will proceed as arranged until the closure.

You can continue with your Unlimited membership by transferring it to a neighbouring Cineworld cinema close to you, such as Cineworld Weston-Super-Mare or Cineworld Yate. To transfer your membership, please contact our Unlimited team via email ([email protected]) or you can call us on 0330 333 4444 Mon-Sun 09:00 - 22:00. Calls to this number are charged at standard national rate and are included within your mobile network minutes.

If we don’t hear from you by the 26th November, we will cancel your membership and refund you any outstanding balance.

All colleagues affected will be assisted in finding alternate roles within the business.

You can use your Cineworld gift card or voucher at Cineworld Bristol up until 26th November 2023 or at any other Cineworld cinema in UK until the expiry date detailed on the gift card/voucher.

Runcorn Closure

Cineworld Runcorn will close on Sunday 26th November after the last film ends.

Following a review of all available options, we have taken the difficult decision to close Cineworld Runcorn. We would like to thank all of our customers, past and present, for choosing Cineworld Runcorn as their local cinema.

No, all films and events will proceed as arranged until the closure.

You can continue with your Unlimited membership by transferring it to a neighbouring Cineworld cinema close to you, such as Cineworld St Helens, Cineworld Speke, Cineworld Warrington and Cineworld Broughton.

To use these memberships you will be need to upgrade your member to a visit these Group 2 Cineworld cinemas.

To do this, please contact our Unlimited team via email ([email protected]) or you can call us on 0330 333 4444 Mon-Sun 09:00 - 22:00. Calls to this number are charged at standard national rate and are included within your mobile network minutes.

If we don’t hear from you by the 26th November, your membership will be upgraded to a group membership at £16.99, upon your next payment after this date. You can of course cancel at anytime.
