The Girl in the Spider's Web: discover the reactions from the Unlimited screening

Claire Foy is fierce hacker Lisbeth Salander in this month's must-see thriller The Girl in the Spider's Web. It's the latest entry in the riveting The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo saga, continuing the story originally laid down by late Swedish author Stieg Larsson.

Last night, lucky Unlimited members got to see the movie in advance of its release date, so what's the response? We'll start with this from Daniel who says, as a newcomer to the series, the movie more than delivered on the action front.

Claire Allan agrees, saying there are twists and turns aplenty to keep potential viewers guessing.

Unsurprisingly, the increasingly versatile Claire Foy achieves the lion's share of the praise. Here's Cheltenham Cinematic with a five-star review.

Leanne agrees, even if she thinks the story is lacking somewhat.

In contrast, several viewers found the movie something of a step down from the previous films starring Noomi Rapace and Rooney Mara. James McLean is one of those.

And Andrew Hazell says the story's emphasis on action comes at the expense of atmosphere.
