The Duke: book your tickets for the Cineworld Unlimited screening

The Duke Cineworld Unlimited screening

Keen for more news from the world of Cineworld Unlimited? Then you're in luck – we've added a brand new Unlimited screening: The Duke, starring Oscar-winning British icons Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren.

In this sparkling take on true events, Broadbent (Iris; Hot Fuzz) plays 1960s pensioner and cabbie Kempton Bunton who embarks on an audacious heist from London's National Gallery. When he absconds with a priceless portrait of the Duke of Wellington and artwork from Francisco Goya, Kempton finds himself firmly in the spotlight. Check out the first trailer for the movie, which is the final film from the acclaimed director Roger Michell (Notting Hill; Enduring Love).

The Duke has been critically lauded for its warm and empathetic take on remarkable true events. Writes Emma Simmonds for Radio Times: "This spry and sometimes sentimental caper from Roger Michell (Notting Hill) is an unabashed crowd-pleaser, with a real-life Robin Hood at its centre."
