Sega icon Sonic is back on the big screen this April in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. It's the sequel to 2020's initial Sonic movie, which went on to become one of the most successful videogame adaptations of all time. Check out the latest Sonic 2 poster, which teases the brewing battle between the fleet-footed hero (voiced by Ben Schwartz) and Jim Carrey's diabolical Doctor Robotnik.
The new movie introduces Sonic's loyal ally Miles 'Tails' Prower (Colleen O'Shaughnessy) and his nemesis slash frenemy Knuckles (Idris Elba). The latter is helping the fiendish Robotnik to find the Master Emerald, but might Knuckles experience a change of loyalties as the story progresses?

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is released in Cineworld cinemas on 1st April.
