Rocketman: discover the reactions from the Cineworld Unlimited screening

Lucky Cineworld Unlimited members got to see Elton John biopic Rocketman in advance last night. Kingsman actor Taron Egerton plays the British pop icon in a "musical fantasy" that explores John's rise to the top of the music industry.

The film is helmed by Dexter Fletcher, who directed Egerton in 2016's Eddie the Eagle, and co-stars Jamie Bell as Bernie Taupin, John's songwriting partner, and Richard Madden as his manager John Reid.

The film has already brought the house down at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, so what did Unlimited members make of it? We'll start with this from Paul who lauds everyone involved.

Anita says it's without doubt her film of the year so far.

AME says the film offers a bracing and fascinating insight into John's life.

Warren is tipping Egerton for the top awards.

Simon says it easily beats a certain other blockbusting music biopic...

And Stephan admires the film for its honest approach to John's background.

Anyone else who was at last night's screening can tweet us their reactions @Cineworld and using #CineworldUnlimited. Rocketman is on wide release now in Cineworld.
