Embark on a journey to watch The Railway Children Return with Cineworld's Family Ticket

Whether we’re laughing, crying or leaping from our seats in excitement, the magic of the big screen has the capacity to enrapture film fans of all ages, and a range of tasty snacks is exactly what’s needed to complete the experience.

Here at Cineworld, we also know that family time is best experienced at the cinema. With our Family Ticket, adults pay kids' prices (valid for groups of four people with up to two paying adults), and this aligns perfectly with the release of The Railway Children Return.

Be more childish together and board this nostalgic follow-up to the 1970 British family classic. Celebrated actor Jenny Agutter reprises her role as Roberta in this continuation of the Railway Children saga, as a group of Yorkshire child evacuees find themselves in the midst of an exciting adventure.

Watch the trailer and prepare to be enthralled by this heartwarming journey back into the past.

In addition to the discount on the price of your seat, Cineworld's Family Ticket also gets you more than 30% off the price of a Family Special snack pack.

The Family Special includes two kids' Munchboxes – each containing a small box of sweet or salted popcorn, a Fruit Shoot or a bottle of water, plus a packet of Milky Way Magic Stars or raisins – along with a regular popcorn and two regular soft drinks for the adults in the group. Present your Family Ticket at the snacks counter and you can get it for the bargain price of just £13.90 (or £15.90 if you want to go large).

The Railway Children Return isn't the only delightful family experience on release in Cineworld at the moment. Gather everyone together for the hilariously anarchic Minions: The Rise of Gru, which takes us back to the origins of Steve Carell's loveable super-villain. And you can head to infinity and beyond with Disney-Pixar’s wondrous Lightyear, which spins the origin story of brave space ranger Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Chris Evans).

Coming later in the month: the all-star animated adventure DC League of Super-Pets (released 29 July), which sees Batman and Superman's canine friends come to the rescue when the caped crime-fighters are kidnapped by an evil villain. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart voice the loyal super-mutts, while Keanu Reeves and John Krasinski voice Batman and Supes. How's that for a heroic voice cast?

With Cineworld's cost-saving Family Ticket, you can create memories that will last a lifetime. As part of Cineworld's commitment to family viewing, we also host Movies for Juniors and Cinebabies screenings.
