Cineworlders! Get motivated with our Paralympics-inspired Movie Mixtape!

As Britain continues to storm (no, not that kind) the Paralympic Games, claiming golds left, right and centre, we thought we'd find out what classic movie hits motivate all you Cineworlders, and what are the ideal Movie Mixtape tunes needed to unleash the Paralympic spirit...

Cineworlder: M19htyw19an finds inspiration in moving true-life drama The Imitation Game, in which Benedict Cumberbatch gives a barnstorming performance as Enigma codebreaker Alan Turing who helped usher in one of the great victories of World War II.

The tune: Much as we love the movie, it is distinctly lacking in fist-pumping pop hits. So we've taken our cue from the tweet and brought you R.E.M.'s classic 'Imitation of Life'. The title is taken from a classic Douglas Sirk 1959 melodrama – and the video is directed by Son of Rambow's Garth Jennings, soon to hit us with animated musical Sing.

Cineworlder: Dawson Roberts is all about ski-jumping sensation Eddie the Eagle whose plucky underdog story was earlier this year turned into a hit movie starring Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman.

The tune: Well, it's got to be Hall and Oates' timeless 'You Make My Dreams' from the movie's brilliant training montage sequence. Who can resist one of those?

Cineworlder: OnceUponAnAngel has done us a solid and picked one of our all-time favourite underdog movies, the hilarious Jamiacan bobsled team story Cool Runnings, in particular one quote...

The tune: We think it's time to whack on classic Jimmy Cliff staple 'I Can See Clearly Now'.

Cineworlder: Fiona Wilson has dived beneath the waves to take heartfelt inspiration from Pixar's Oscar-winning masterpiece Finding Nemo, in particular Dory's "just keep swimming" mantra.

The tune: It's got to be our very own Robbie Williams, here to deliver his own take on celebrated crooner Bobby Darin's hit 'Beyond the Sea'. After all, the lyrics indicate an epic, heartfelt quest that will take us beyond the horizon – is there anything better for honouring the spirit of our Paralympic heroes?

Cineworlder: Finally we have Sarah who has jetted to a far-flung universe and taken inspiration from Marvel's stupidly entertaining Guardians of the Galaxy. And the song she's chosen is another classic...

The tune: Sarah's plumped for Blue Swede's uplifting and motivational 'Hooked On A Feeling', heard in the film's trailer and as part of its own Awesome Mix. Sorted.
