The People Just Do Nothing team visits Cineworld Leicester Square

The guys behind the hit BBC mockumentary People Just Do Nothing are about to hit up the big screen. Having won over audiences on BBC4 and, eventually, BBC2, the Kurupt FM squad are preparing to present their feature film debut, Big In Japan – and the team was recently spotted at Cineworld Leicester Square. This encompasses Allan Mustafa as MC Grindah, Hugo Chegwin as DJ Beats, Asim Chaudhry as Chabuddy G, Steve Stamp as Steves and Dan Sylvester as Decoy.

For those who don't know, People Just Do Nothing follows the loveably scrappy ensemble at Kurupt FM, pirate radio DJs who broadcast their favourite garage music out of, yes, a garage in Brentford, London. Their big-screen debut sends them to the Far East where they discover that their music has been used illegally in a television show. The only solution: head to the Land of the Rising Sun and secure an all-important record deal.

People Just Do Nothing: Big In Japan is released in Cineworld cinemas on 18th August. Check out the trailer.
