Cineworld Newcastle to unveil brand new 4DX screen this December

Calling all you Cineworlders in Newcastle! Get ready for a cinema revolution because your new 4DX auditorium is opening this December in time for Christmas! Here's what you need to know.

The cinema

Located in The Gate leisure and entertainment centre the Cineworld Newcastle 4DX auditorium puts audiences at the heart of the movie experience.

What is 4DX?

Simply, it's the evolution of your cinema experience, stimulating all five senses through seats that move and vibrate and special effects such as snow, wind, fog, lightning, bubbles, water, and scents.

The screen

The 16-screen cinema will house 2,635 seats after the 4DX screen opens, all with cutting-edge visuals and surround sound to pull audiences into the heart of the biggest blockbusters like Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

Cineworld Unlimited Card holders can also enjoy access to an unlimited number of films per month for less than the price of two new-release peak time tickets, at just £17.90 per month (or £20.40 for London West End cinemas).
