1. Saint Maud
David Copperfield actor Morfydd Clark gives a memorably creepy performance in this eerie psychological horror. British director Rose Glass (check out our interview here) makes a confident and atmospheric feature film debut with this story of a pious nurse who commits to saving her latest patient's soul. However, things soon get out of control and seriously weird in this acclaimed chiller, which wowed the crowds at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival.

2. After We Collided
Swooning teen romance After We Collided pairs hot young things Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin for a story of love against the odds. When a young woman undergoes a break-up with her boyfriend, she finds herself attracted to another man (Dylan Sprouse). But is the course of romance destined to right itself?

3. Bill & Ted Face The Music
Excellent! Nearly 30 years after their last movie appearance, goofy slackers Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) are once again destined for great things. Not that they're aware. The Wyld Stallyns rockers are now older, and each have grown-up daughters. Will this new-fangled maturity help when it comes to composing the ultimate rock song and saving the world?

4. Cats & Dogs: Paws Unite
When a tech-savvy villain hacks into wireless networks to use frequencies only heard by cats and dogs, he manipulates them into conflict, and the worldwide battle between cats and dogs is BACK ON. Now, a team of inexperienced and untested agents will have to use their old-school animal instincts to restore order and peace between cats and dogs everywhere.

5. Rocky IV, Rocky V and Rocky Balboa
Looking for inspiration? We all need that in these glum times. So get yourself down to Cineworld and enjoy some punchy nostalgia courtesy of the Rocky movies. Sylvester Stallone's underdog pugilist powers his way from palooka to champion in these irresistibly uplifting boxing classics, replete with any number of classic lines and scenes.

6. Tenet
There's still time to catch Christopher Nolan's spectacular new epic, which scrambles time to typically audacious effect. John David Washington and Robert Pattinson are the operatives on the trail of Kenneth Branagh's sinister Russian villain, with Nolan pulling out all the stops in a mega-budget movie containing crashing planes, backwards-chasing cars and more.

7. The Elfkins
Gnomeo And Juliet meets Trolls, The Elfkins is a funny, colourful and uplifting story about being accepted no matter how big or small you are. For more than 200 years, the Elfkins have been living underground, hiding from the upper world and avoiding any interaction with the human beings. But one day a small but fearless gnome, together with two of her best friends, climb to the earth's surface to discover that not all is doom and gloom and find their true purpose in life; helping others!

8. The New Mutants
Maisie Williams and Anya Taylor-Joy are among the hormone-fuelled young adult superheroes in this X-Men spin-off thriller. When a group of adolesents with extraordinary abilities find themselves trapped within a sinister facility, they must use their assorted powers to escape. 9. Akira
The 1988 Japanese manga classic returns to the big screen, and for the first time ever, its hugely influential vision of the future screens in IMAX. Director Katsuhiro Otomo adapts his own seminal manga series for this bleak yet visually arresting and enthralling look at a future where the divide between human and inhuman has become increasingly blurred.
