Surviving Christmas with the Relatives (limited)
What's the story? SURVIVING CHRISTMAS with the Relatives is a heart-warming, riotous take on the traditional festive family get-together, as disparate relatives are thrown together in a confined space for a three-day ordeal. The film sees two sisters and their families come together in their recently deceased parents' falling down country house, with chaotic consequences. Miranda and Dan are refugees from city life trying to set up a small holding with their kids in tow, and Lila is a fading Hollywood star married to her alcoholic agent. Ancient sibling rivalries flare up again to sabotage the hope for a season of good will.

Autism Friendly Screening: The Grinch (Sunday 2nd December, 11am)
What's the story? Autism Friendly screenings at Cineworld differ from regular screenings. Some of the key differences are: Lighting will be kept on during the screening. Volume levels will be reduced. There will be no advertisements or trailers. Seating will not be allocated. Customers will be allowed to bring in their own food. Screenings will be at 11am on the first Sunday of every month. For further information please ask in your local cinema.

What's the story? Take a giant leap into the unknown and see a secret screening of a major film before general release. Cineworld is screening a mystery film for its Unlimited members once more! Turn up on the day with your ticket and Unlimited Card to catch a major film ahead of its official UK release. The screening is for Unlimited members only so make sure your sidekick is an Unlimited member too. Fly in and join us for a wild ride, your fellow Unlimited members are depending on you. The film is screening at all Cineworld cinemas apart from Glasgow Science Centre (It's playing at Renfrew Street, Parkhead, and Silverburn).

What's the story? On a normal day as life continues in Chennai, suddenly all the mobile phones in the city fly away. People and the government are panic struck. As confusion prevails the phones take the shape of an enormous bird and comes to destroy the city. Dr. Vasigaran then activates his andro humanoid robot, Chitti who comes back to life to save the people from the evil force.

The Plagues of Breslau (Polish)
What's the story? There are a series of macabre killings, taking place in Wroclaw. Every day at 18:00 an unknown serial killer commits a crime. Policewoman Helena Rus (Malgorzata Kozuchowska) suspects that they are the work of the same man. When Helena's police partner, Bronson (Tomasz Oswiecinski) is seriously injured during an intervention, she decides to identify the murderer at any price. Along with a profiler from the Central Bureau of Investigation, Iwona Bogacka (Daria Widawska), who is delegated to this case, she conducts the investigation, which grounds must be sought in the 18th century history of the city. The women try to win the race against time and prevent further crimes.

Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us (Saturday 1st December, 6pm)
What's the story? A young athlete whose running days might be behind her, a compulsive liar, a shy researcher, a bitter old woman, and a little girl with a big secret--the only thing they have in common is the annual Wind Festival in Fula City. The festival celebrates the Legendary Pokemon Lugia, who brings the wind that powers this seaside city. When a series of threats endangers not just the festival, but all the people and Pokemon of Fula City, it'll take more than just Ash and Pikachu to save the day! Can everyone put aside their differences and work together--or will it all end in destruction?

Bolshoi Ballet 2018: Don Quixote (Sunday 2nd December, 3pm)

Cervantes' hero comes to life in the Bolshoi's critically acclaimed staging of this exalting performance. With panache and sparkling technique, principal dancers Ekaterina Krysanova and Semyon Chudin lead the spectacular cast of toreadors, flamenco dancers, gypsies, and dryads in virtuosic dancing that is quintessential Bolshoi. ROH Royal Ballet Live: The Nutcracker (Monday 3rd December, 7.15pm)
What's the story? The Nutcracker has long been one of the most delightful ways to discover the enchantment of ballet – and makes for a delicious seasonal treat for all the family. Tchaikovsky's much-loved music is matched to a magical adventure on Christmas Eve for Clara and her Nutcracker doll. Their journey to the Land of Sweets brings with it some of the most familiar of all ballet moments, such as the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Waltz of the Flowers. Peter Wright's production for The Royal Ballet keeps true to the spirit of this Russian ballet classic, with period details and dancing snowflakes. The many solo roles and ensembles put the world-class skills of the Company to the fore in this Christmas classic.

What's the story? All Kevin McCallister wants for Christmas is for his family to disappear. So when he wakes to discover that they have accidentally left for their Christmas trip without him and that his wish has come true, he does what any kid would do - he parties! But when he learns that two burglars with a Christmas list of their own are working their way up the block, he is forced to defend the family home on his own and sets about decking the halls with ingenious traps to hold the thieves at bay until his relatives come home.

NT Live: Antony and Cleopatra (Thursday 6th December, 7pm)
What's the story? Broadcast live from the National Theatre, Ralph Fiennes and Sophie Okonedo play Shakespeare's famous fated couple in his great tragedy of politics, passion and power. Caesar and his assassins are dead. General Mark Antony now rules alongside his fellow defenders of Rome. But at the fringes of a war-torn empire the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and Mark Antony have fallen fiercely in love. In a tragic fight between devotion and duty, obsession becomes a catalyst for war. Director Simon Godwin returns to National Theatre Live screens with this hotly anticipated production, following previous broadcasts of Twelfth Night, Man and Superman and The Beaux' Stratagem.
