The director spins an evocative black and white ode to the pulsating 1990s Scottish rave scene. The movie centres on two teenagers, best friends Johnno and Spanner (Cristian Ortega and Lorn MacDonald), who are determined to attend the rave party to end them all, despite the authorities' attempts to shut down so-called 'illegal' gatherings.
The Hollywood Reporter describes the movie as "an infectiously enjoyable slice of knockabout nostalgia that wears its Trainspotting heritage proudly on its rough-edged tartan sleeve".
