The Battle Of Britain At 75" will retell the story of the biggest aerial conflict of the Second World War. This two and a half hour cinema experience comes live from Biggin Hill in south-east London, the most famous of Britainas fighter stations. BBC Radio 2as Dermot OaLeary, Jeremy Vine and Louise Minchin will be joined by the BBC Concert Orchestra and musicians from across the armed forces as they share rare and untold stories from the Battle. Unseen archive footage from the conflict, modern day RAF personnel, guest singers and a cast of actors will bring those stories to life as we remember the men and women who lost their lives 75 years ago. A 30 minute exclusive to cinema element will include a live Spitfire and Hurricane display. The Battle Of Britain At 75a comes from the producers of "D-Day 70 Years On", winners of Event Cinema Campaign of the Year at the 2014 Screen Awards.
