Magik are back with some new members in the long-awaited sequel to the cult 2008 Indian rock musical Abhishek Kapoor really broke the mould with his innovative 2008 film 'Rock On!!', which was the very first Hindi rock musical. The story of Mumbi-based grunge band Magik, who reunite after ten years apart, it was an instant cult and critical hit, winning an extraordinary seven Filmfare Awards. Now many of the orignal cast reunite for this eagerly anticipated sequel, which also introduces a new generation of Indian rockers. This time the action is relocated to the North East - specifically Shillong, which is renowned as India's rock capital. The story is being kept under wraps, but we know that returning band members Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli are joined by talented newcomers Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora. The rocking music is by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy, who scored the original film.
