Diljit Dosanjh stars in a stirring Punjabi drama about a young man forced to leave home during the traumatic events of 1984. When he finds himself branded a terrorist, a young man (Diljit Dosanjh) is forced to flee his home. His desperate mother (Kiron Kher) searches for him and longs for them to be reunited. Set against the turbulent backdrop of 1984 Punjab, this emotional drama depicts an especially sensitive time for the region's youth. It has been described by Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh as his 'dream project'. The film reunites him with top Punjabi director Anurag Singh and producer Gunbir Singh Sandhu, with whom he worked on the record-breaking 'Jatt & Juliet' series. Diljit also collaborated with Anurag Singh on this year's romantic comedy 'Disco Singh'. Award-winning veteran actress Kiron Kher, of 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Devdas' fame, is cast as his mother.
