This is a cracking new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's much-loved tale of murder, money and mutiny. It's written by Bryony Lavery, whose family drama credits include adaptations of 'The Hundred and One Dalmatians' and 'A Christmas Carol', and her trademark is strong female characters. Here she puts a new spin on the story by re-casting Jim Hawkins as a girl. Broadcast live in stunning HD from the NT's vast Olivier stage, this show is suitable for everyone aged 10 or over.
