Zhenjiang Zhong is an low-level accountant in some company colluding with his superior B embezzled public funds and invested them into real estate of Hainan province, which makes a huge deficit on account books. Under the pressure of the investigation team's progress, Zhenjiang feels that he has no way to go. In order to get enough money to make the books even, he instigates his childhood friend Hai Wu to marry a vainglorious camgirl who is called Miaomiaoand and buy a high insurance for her with being the beneficiary and then make a traffic accident to murder her for the claim. Unlike Zhengjiang, Hai is soft and simple，he works in an Internet cafe and raises all by himself his child called You Wu who suffers from asthma. The terrible air and dim astmosphere of the attic they are living in make the kid's situation worse and worse. So Hai is in a desperate need of a new place for his son. Zhenjiang utilizes Hai’s need to incite him to join his plan and instigates Hai to pay court to Miaomiao like mad. Hai accepts the offer impulsively. With Hai's "honest" and "deep" love，Miaomiao gets married with Hai as planned. Between and truth and lie，real and fake，without being aware of anything，Miaomiao not only gets very well with Hai and his son, but also announces a "NO SMOKING" policy in the internet cafe. For You's good, Miao even cancels the webcast account. Hai gradually gets to realize that Miao isn't the peacockish girl he used to think she was, actually all her deeds on the webcast was for her family. Hai can't help feeling sympathy for her and starting to delay the plan by all means. As this moment, Zhenjiang suddenly begins to execute the plan himself. He knows Miao can't swim, so he gives Miao a ride and rides the bike into a lake with Miao on purpose. Hai regrets awfully and runs to the accident scene, but it's too late. And more surprising to Hai, Miao also lied to Hai...
