Selçuk, our hero, lives in a small neighbourhood of İstanbul with his family. Selçuk’s only dream is to join the neighbourhood’s gang which is led by İsmet, who is also his idol. Selçuk decides that the best way to join İsmet’s gang is to buy him an Atari. We’ll be watching the incredible plans Selçuk comes up with in order to save money to join İsmet’s gang, the injustice, the disappointment he experiences and his ambition to succeed in a neighbourhood environment with its 90s grocery store, mosque, dusty streets, pesticide spray vehicles, colourful chicks and mischievous kids. The parents of today are free to say, “those were the days… I did that too. Look, I remember this too.” as they watch the film.
