Vidya Balan stars as a mother accused of kidnap and murder in Sujoy Ghosh's edge-of-seat Bollywood thriller It's the telephone call that every mother dreads. A voice tells her that her daughter has been kidnapped. If she ever wants to see the little girl again, she must go to a specific address. While running through the streets, she's hit by a car and winds up in hospital in a coma. The investigating cop (Arjun Rampal) learns that her name is Durga Rani Singh (Vidya Balan). But there's another big surprise in store. Durga Rani Singh is wanted for kidnap and murder! What began as a simple hit-and-run investigation now takes a sinister turn as extraordinary secrets are unravelled. Director Sujoy Ghosh reunites with star Vidya Balan for this eagerly anticipated sequel to their 2012 award winner 'Kahaani'. It's another emotionally powerful mystery thriller anchored by a compelling central performance and boasting many incredible twists and turns.
