The latest film from Oscar-winning Spanish director Pedro Almodovar is a riotous and raunchy comedy! During a flight bound for Mexico City, the landing gear suddenly fails - causing panic amid the passengers and crew. Those in peril include a trio of gay flight attendants, a Captain whose sexual orientation is always being called into question - and a clairvoyant who's also a virgin. But as the plane prepares to go down, the outsized libidos of those on-board lead to decidedly risqué and outrageous situations! One thing's for sure - we can only be back in the colourful environment of a Pedro Almodovar comedy! I'm So Excited marks the director's return to more irreverent territory following acclaimed dramas such as Volver and The Skin I Live In. Calling to mind Almodovar's earlier films such as Tie Me Up Tie Me Down, it's a gleefully oddball confection with a decidedly kinky edge!
