Entertaining controversialist Russell Brand proposes revolution in a provocative discussion. Last year, Jeremy Paxman's 'Newsnight' joust with Russell Brand on the subject of politics became a massive YouTube hit. More than 10 million people watched sparks fly between the articulate comedian and the heavyweight news presenter online. Now Brand has distilled his thoughts for a new book entitled 'Revolution'. His argument is that the system no longer works, governments are corrupt and there's nothing to choose between rival political parties. Now, he says, revolution is not only desirable but inevitable. Drawing on sources as diverse as George Orwell and French economist Thomas Piketty, he insists that revolution will not only producer a fairer and more just society but could also be sexy and fun! His views are put to the test by the Guardian's Owen Jones in what promises to be another very lively debate, broadcast live by satellite.
