An ordinary man crosses paths with a fearsome gangster in this Malayalam action thriller. After a series of rows with his mother, Anil Anto (Prithviraj Sukumaran) relocates from Kottarakkara to Kochi with his pregnant wife Amala (Chandini Sreedharan). They start to forge a happy new life together until an unexpected incident brings Anil into contact with local don Darwin (Chemban Vinod Jose) - a widowed single father who's smitten by a local teacher. Director Jijo Antony subverts our expectations from the outset by presenting Darwin as the hero and Anil as the villain of his unconventional tale. It offers another great role for Malaylam star Prithviraj, who's enjoyed an unbroken run of hits in recent years, from the critically acclaimed true-life romantic thriller Ennu Ninte Moideen to Amar Akbar Anthony, Anarkali and Pavada. Chemban Vinod Jose, who also appeared with Prithviraj in Pavada, has a meaty role as the goon.
