A hilariously deadpan Greek comedy in which six men vie for superiority in a series of tests. On a luxury yacht in the middle of the Aegean sea, six bored, mostly middle-aged men decide to play a game. In order to determine who is "the best in general", they agree to put themselves through a number of challenges. These range from straightforward cleaning contests and an IKEA flatpack assembly race to more intimate measurements of manliness. The winner will be awarded a Chevalier signet ring. As this testosterone-driven competition develops, tensions arise and cracks begin to appear in their macho facades. Athina Rachel Tsangari, who directed the memorably bizarre 'Attenberg', brings a deliciously satirical female perspective to this portrait of male rivalry, vanity and insecurity. She co-wrote the script with Efthymis Filippou - a regular collaborator with Yorgos Lanthimos, who gave us those classics of surreal modern Greek cinema 'Dogtooth' and 'The Lobster'. In Greek with English subtitles.
