Suriya stars in Vikram Kumar's ambitious, ultra-stylish Tamil sci-fi thriller. Tamil superstar Suriya makes his eagerly anticipated return to science fiction in writer/director Vikram Kumar's exciting and intriguing time travel thriller. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but it has been revealed that Suriya plays three separate characters with as many as six distinct looks. These include the film's bad guy, Athreya, who will stop at nothing to achieve his evil plan. Samantha and Nithya Menen are cast as romantic interests of two of Suriya's strikingly different characters. Saranya Ponvannan plays the mother of one of his characters too. Despite such apparent complexity, Vikram Kumar says that his film boasts a straightforward narrative, driven by a gadget, that can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages. More than 60% of what Suriya has described as the most ambitious film of his career features eye-popping effects shots. Music is by the great A.R. Rahman.
