Yesterday gets a standing ovation from Cineworld Unlimited members

Cineworld Unlimited members may be waiting for a good day sunshine, but were nevertheless delighted with last night's preview screening of Beatles-themed comedy Yesterday

Danny Boyle directs and Richard Curtis scripts this sweet story of bike courier Jack (Himesh Patel), who purloins the music of the Fab Four after he discovers he's the only person in the world who remembers them. Lily James co-stars and Ed Sheeran cameos in this affectionate story of the perils of fame, one set to a soundtrack of timeless hits.

So what did Unlimited audiences make of the movie? We'll start with this from Emma@TheMovies who lauds Patel's central performance.

Dave Billingsley says it's a fitting tribute to the music of John, Paul, George and Ringo.

Sue Ginda says the movie has everything needed for a feel-good experience.

David Evans says it's another Curtis classic to sit alongside the likes of Four Weddings and Notting Hill.

And Amber says the movie may exert a positive influence over your entire day...

Anyone else who was at last night's screening can tweet their responses @Cineworld and using #CineworldUnlimited. And if you can't wait to see the movie again, the good news is Yesterday goes on wide release on 28th June.
