Watch our exclusive interview with The Little Stranger director Lenny Abrahamson

Atmospheric period chiller The Little Stranger creeps onto Cineworld screens today, adapted from Sarah Waters' novel.

Oscar-nominated Room director Lenny Abrahamson brings us the story of country doctor Faraday (Domhnall Gleeson), who becomes the acquaintance of the wealthy yet declining Ayres family residing at Hundreds Hall. While falling in love with daughter Caroline (Ruth Wilson), Faraday is alerted to strange happenings around the house, which may be of possible supernatural origin...

We were delighted to catch up with Lenny to discuss the appeal of a good old-fashioned spine-tingling story, the importance of Domhnall Gleeson's casting and the challenges of adapting Waters' Booker Prize-shortlisted novel for the screen. Check it out below.
