The Gorgosaurus attacks in clip from Walking With Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie

A fearsome Gorgosaurus named Gorgon threatens a Pachyrhinosaurus herd in this clip from Walking With Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie.

Hero dinosaur Patchi (voiced by Justin Long) is caught up in the melee as his family attempt to stand their ground against the deadly predator. It's a case of armour-plating versus razor-sharp teeth – and there's even time for a bit of unexpected humour!

Gorgosaurus means 'Fierce Lizard,' and judging by the clip, it's not hard to see why. Unlike the rest of the dinos, he doesn't speak – although if he did, we can imagine him being voiced by suitably menacing like Ray Winstone or Vinnie Jones.

Watch the clip and let us know what you think. Walking With Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie is released on 20 December.
