Meet Susan, October's Unlimited Fan of the Month!

Congratulations to our latest Unlimited fan of the month - Susan Clark! She has been going to the cinema since she can remember, she considers Cineworld her home away from home and she wouldn't have it any other way! Here's her Unlimited story:

1. Which Cineworld do you consider your local?

Glasgow Renfrew Street is like “a home away from home”. It's about a 20 minute bus ride away but it's the closest Cineworld to me and the best I've been to so far. It's also easier now that I pass it on my way home from uni so it's probably more tempting to go see a movie after a lecture.

2. When did you sign up to Cineworld Unlimited?

I became a member in September 2014.

3. What made you decide to sign up to Unlimited?

I became friends with a girl from work and she encouraged me to get one as she had one. I was going to the cinema a lot anyway and it meant that I could go even more so it was definitely an easy decision to make. A great one at that.

4. Do you have an Unlimited buddy you go to the cinema with?

Yep. The friend I met at work. Our friendship has grown over the years and we've seen many movies together over the last 3 years. We've done so many midnight showings and a couple of Unlimited screenings. Having an Unlimited card has also given me the nudge to go see movies on my own which I wouldn't have done otherwise.

5.  What’s the first film you saw at the cinema?

I'm not entirely sure what the first film I went to see at the cinema was. I was rather young and it's a bit of a blur what the first few were. I reckon it was Mrs Doubtfire though when I was about 4 so it's definitely going a long way back. It's the first one I can remember and I do remember laughing at it even though I was so young even if I didn't understand all of the humour at the time. My mum would take my brother and I to the cinema as a treat a few times a year though.

6.  What’s your favourite must-have cinema snack? Do you have a cinema snack hack?

Maltesers are my favourite munchies to have whilst watching a movie. I also really like that we have a Starbucks in our cinema so I always pop in and get myself a Mocha Frappe.

7.  What’s your absolute favourite part about going to the cinema?

Honestly, there's not one thing that I can pinpoint that is the best part. It's the whole experience. It's meeting up with friends beforehand and getting excited for the film, the getting the snacks and drinks, finding your seat and finally when the whole room goes quiet as the movie starts. Then talking about the film afterwards. I love it all and I love hearing what people enjoy about what they watched. The whole experience gives that feeling of being a kid again and you get to escape reality for a couple of hours and dive into another world.

8.  What’s the most number of films you’ve watched at the cinema in one day/week/month?

In one day 3. A week about 5 or 6. And in a month about 8.

9.  What do you love most about being an Unlimited member?

Being an Unlimited member has given me the opportunity to go see movies that I probably wouldn't have if I hadn't been a member which means I have been to see some really great movies. It has also given me the confidence to go see a movie on my own which is now something I absolutely love doing.

The chances of seeing Unlimited screenings before other people is also a fantastic part of being a member.
The discounts are also a very nice little perk. Our cinema had the 4DX installed over a year ago and being able to get discount on that and go see a film in the 4DX has been a fun and awesome experience. Seeing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in 4DX was probably the most fun I have had at the cinema.
