First full-length trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction

screen-poster

The first full-length trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction has landed.

It's all the things you'd expect... Melancholy, profound, moody... Nah, who are we kidding? There's loads of stuff blowing up and that's all that matters.

Teasing nuggets of story indicate that the Transformers are under threat not only from their robotic brethren but also from humanity, with one character gravely announcing, "A new era has begun... The age of the Transformers is over."

We're more intrigued however by the role of Mark Wahlberg's character, who at the start of the trailer appears to repair a Transformer disguised as a dilapidated truck in his farmhouse. Needless to say, this soon gets the attention of some mysterious and shady characters.

Still, we think it's the final spectacular shot of Optimus Prime battling a Dinobot that will have fans most excited. Yes, the Transformers are back – in a big, big way!

Transformers: Age of Extinction is released on 27 June. What did you think of the trailer? Post a comment and let us know.
