Watch Armie Hammer vs. a car in action-packed Man from U.N.C.L.E. clip

screen-poster

Vehicles are no match for the mighty KGB in this scene from Guy Ritchie's slick-looking spy adventure The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Watch as Armie Hammer's dedicated Russian Ilya Kuryakin valiantly tries to catch up to American Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) and Gaby (Alicia Vikander) – so much so that he almost brings their car to a dead stop by pulling on it.

Judging from the scene, it appears that the appealing young cast are expertly walking the line between sincerity and irony in a way that honours the tone of the classic 1960s TV series starring Robert Vaughn and David McCallum.

Here's hoping that The Man from U.N.C.L.E. will prove to be an immaculately tailored summer highlight when it arrives on 14th August.
