2016 is bringing with it loads of massive movies. And they don't come bigger or more anticipated than director Jon Favreau's lavish, action-packed retooling of Disney classic The Jungle Book.
And because we're so good to you, here's a new poster teasing fresh glimpses at the King of the Swingers himself, King Louie (voiced by Christopher Walken), and hypnotic panther Kaa (Scarlett Johansson).
A mixture of live-action performance and cutting-edge CGI, Favreau's movie casts newcomer Neel Sethi as mancub Mowgli. Meanwhile, the voice cast for the movie's animal characters, in addition to the aforementioned Walken and Johansson is mouth-watering.
Idris Elba plays Mowgli's tiger nemesis Shere Khan, Sir Ben Kingsley is wise panther Bagheera and Lupita Nyong'o and Giancarlo Esposito are wolves Raksha and Akela, respectively. Even so, it's the perenially laid-back Bill Murray as bear Baloo that we're really looking forward to hearing.
So what do you think? Will Favreau's movie be bringing the bear necessities to a whole new audience? We'll find out when The Jungle Book roars into life on 15th April. Take a look at the trailer.
