Why the new BFG poster is promising an irresistible family treat

screen-poster

Little meets large in the enchanting new poster for The BFG. Adapted from Roald Dahl's classic children's novel by legendary E.T. and Jurassic Park director Steven Spielberg, this promises to be one 2016's unmissable family extravaganzas, as young girl Sophie is whisked away to an extraordinary land by the eponymous Big Friendly Giant. And the poster promises a fantastical adventure brimming with magic.

Starring Mark Rylance as the eponymous BFG, himself an Oscar nominee for his terrific performance in Spielberg's very own Bridge of Spies, the movie also stars newcomer Ruby Barnhill as Sophie and a host of famous faces, including Inside Out's Bill Hader as fearsome giant the Bloodbottler.

So, all you human beans – are you setting a date to go and watch The BFG? The movie is out on 22nd July so send us your thoughts @Cineworld.
