So you might be aware that last night brought us the epic 2017 Super Bowl – but we're not here to talk about that. We're all about the awesome trailers that dropped during the annual, all-American extravaganza, ones teasing some of the year's biggest upcoming releases. And because we're so good to you, we've rounded them up right here for your viewing pleasure.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
We're getting as impatient as you are for the return of Star Lord and his misfit crew. So sate those Guardians cravings with this sweet new promo for Marvel's sequel, one promising the same blend of rocking tunes and massive laughs that made its predecessor such a classic. Plus, there's more Baby Groot!
The Fate of the Furious
Vin Diesel vs. cars. A minigun vs. cars. Heck, we've even got a submarine vs. cars. As we've come to expect from the tyre-screeching Fast & Furious franchise, each new instalment is dedicated to upping the insane levels of action, and Vin Diesel's return as Dom Toretto (this time seemingly betraying his 'family' for Charlize Theron's villain) promises not to disappoint.
Transformers: The Last Knight
No-one expects Transformers behemoth Michael Bay to sit back and relax with a cup of tea. His fifth Transformers movie (after reneging on his promise never to make any more) brings in Sir Anthony Hopkins, ancient British history and lots (and we mean lots) of explosions. Plus, Autobot leader Optimus Prime appears to go full evil on us. What's going on?
Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge
Johnny Depp sets sail again as the rogueish Cap'n Jack Sparrow in the fifth Pirates movie, details of which have been fairly scant until now. However this Super Bowl teaser does at least offer a few new glimpses of Sparrow's latest nemesis, the terrifying, undead Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem).
It's just one month until we're reunited with Hugh Jackman's feral superhero, and just when you thought it was impossible to squeeze more footage from trailers, another claws its way online.
Ghost in the Shell
This Super Bowl summary ain't no boys' own club. Taking the guys on at their own game is the kick-ass Scarlett Johansson whose role as The Major in this all-action spectacle looks suitably mindblowing. It's based on the hugely influential anime franchise and looks to deliver a nightmarish feat of futuristic visuals.
Is it possible to make a Baywatch movie? Based on the hilarious evidence here, the answer would appear to be yes. A-listers Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron look set to bring a dash of 22 Jump Street-style, fourth-wall-breaking cheekiness to the sun-kissed beach extravaganza.
When is the discovery of an outer-space life-form ever a good idea? Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds and Rebecca Ferguson are about to find out the hard way in this claustrophobic-looking sci-fi horror, in which an expedition to collect samples from Mars goes horribly wrong.
John Wick: Chapter 2
Is there anything cooler than a suited and booted Keanu Reeves opening a can of whoopass on some unsuspecting bad guys? It worked a charm in his 2015 comeback sleeper hit John Wick, and this eagerly awaited sequel will be bringing more good-looking thrills.
