A totally awesome new #Spider-ManHomecoming trailer has swung in

screen-poster

The Spider-Man franchise gets an upgrade in the latest Homecoming trailer, one teasing Peter Parker's newfangled suit.

Now equipped with a graphical interface that allows him to select web-shooters, it seems Tom Holland's Spidey is a technological step up from predecessors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

But it's not all nerdy tech. There are plenty of big laughs too capturing the irreverent nature of Spider-Man from the comics, whether he's stopping a thief from committing "Grand Theft Bike" to scaring two children with his malfunctioning eyepieces. And the chemistry with Robert Downey Jr.'s mentor Tony Stark looks as enjoyably snippy as ever.

We also get the briefest of glimpses at Donald Glover (rumoured to be playing fan favourite Miles Morales) and more menace from Michael Keaton's baddie Vulture, whose attempt to whisk Peter into the air is prevented only by the latter's nifty parachute. Check out the trailer below.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into action on 7th July. What do you make of Peter's new suit? Let us know @Cineworld.
