Romantic classic Sleepless in Seattle returns to Cineworld for Valentine's Day

So Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Struggling to think of the perfect romantic night out? Well, we've come up with the answer in the form of our one day only screening of Sleepless in Seattle.

The plot (as if we need to remind you die-hard romantics of it!) sees Tom Hanks play Sam Baldwin, a Seattle-based single father mourning the death of his wife. When his son Jonah (Ross Malinger) convinces him to air his grief live on the radio, Sam suddenly becomes a hit with thousands of female listeners. And listening somewhere out there is Baltimore journalist Annie Reed (Meg Ryan), who is touched by Sam’s story and comes to the realisation that they are both destined to meet.

Hanks and Ryan make a magical pairing in the second of their three films together and it of course builds to that classic finale atop the Empire State Building. Written and directed by late romantic comedy expert Nora Ephron (When Harry Met Sally; You've Got Mail), it's the ideal Valentine's Day movie.

This exclusive screening is playing across 68 cinemas for one day only. Click here to book your tickets.

As it's Valentine's Day and love is in the air, we took a poll from Unlimited customers about their favourite lines from their favourite romantic movies.

Out of a poll of 4033 people, the line "Here's looking at you kid " from all-time classic Casablanca yielded an impressive 13.6% of the vote. But it was beaten by both Dirty Dancing ("Nobody puts Baby in the corner" with 19.8%) and Jerry Maguire ("You had me at hello" with 17.8%). Other top films included Thelma and Louise, Top Gun and Sleepless in Seattle itself.
