screen-poster

We're delighted to announce your next Unlimited screening is Guillermo del Toro's utterly magical The Shape of Water

The Pan's Labyrinth filmmaker returns with one of his self-proclaimed "favourite" movies, an enchanting story of a tender romance between mute janitor Elisa (Sally Hawkins) and an amphibious creature (del Toro regular Doug Jones).

Steeped in 1960s Cold War atmosphere and enveloped by a love of classic silent cinema and monster movies, it works as a treat for both the eyes and the emotions. Ever wanted to see a creature feature where the creature gets the girl? Now's your chance. Check out the trailer.

Bolstered by a superb supporting cast including Michael Shannon, Octavia Spencer, Richard Jenkins and Michael Stuhlbarg, del Toro's latest is one of this year's major awards contenders. Winner of two Golden Globes and nominated for 12 BAFTAs, it's a visually ravishing treat that's not to be missed.

The movie screens in advance on Tuesday 30th January. Please note: Bromley, Cheltenham Screening Rooms, Glasgow Science Centre and Leicester Square aren't screening the film.
